HE IS RISEN!

What an amazing and powerful declaration! These three words form the very foundation of the Christian faith.

Nothing in human history compares to this miraculous event. God became man so that His perfect, sinless life could be given as a sacrifice for us. Jesus bore the weight of all humanity’s sin, making it possible for us to be reconciled with God for eternity. And what must we do to receive this forgiveness and the promise of eternal life? The Bible gives us a simple yet profound answer—believe.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

The God we worship is an all-powerful, eternal God. Scripture tells us that He created all things—time, space, and life itself. He exists beyond human comprehension, with no beginning and no end, beyond time. Even modern science points to the remarkable fine-tuning of the universe, a precision so extraordinary that many now acknowledge a divine Creator at work.

Yet among all creation, God declares humanity to be His most cherished masterpiece—the only beings made in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). He granted us the ability to think, choose, and love, even knowing we would fall into sin. Our brokenness separates us from His perfect holiness, yet His love for us remains unwavering. God, in His infinite mercy, provided a way to restore what was lost—through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Through Jesus, we are offered the greatest gift: to become children of God, heirs to eternal life. This is not something we can earn, nor is it something we deserve. It is given freely to all who repent and believe in the finished work of Christ.

” And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”

— 1 John 5:11-13

This is why, on Easter, we proclaim with joy and conviction: “HE IS RISEN!”

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, do not let another moment pass without embracing this truth. Call out to God. Acknowledge His love, receive His gift of grace, and believe that Jesus died and rose again—for you. Your eternal destiny depends on it. May God bless you abundantly this Easter, and may your heart be filled with the joy of His resurrection.
