At Global Assist, we are fortunate to have an incredible team of staff and volunteers dedicated to supporting independent native-led disciple-making church planting (DMCP) ministries around the world. Instead of a standard update, I’d like to pull back the curtain and share what we do on a daily basis.
- An International Team – Our strength lies in our diversity. We have team members based in the US and around the globe, collaborating to support our mission. This international presence enriches our perspectives and enhances our ability to connect with partners.
- A Mighty, Multifaceted Team – Though we are a small group, our team is filled with professionals who wear many hats. Our leadership and staff push beyond their comfort zones to meet the needs of our 15 Global Ministry Partners (GMPs). We work tirelessly to ensure that each partner receives personalized support tailored to their unique context.
- Supporting Movement-Making Organizations – As a US-based organization, our heart beats for nurturing ministries in 30 different countries. Our mission is clear: we fulfill the Great Commission by empowering those who are reaching the unreached in their own languages and cultures.
What Do We Do?
We have two dedicated teams: one focused on operations and communications in the US, and another that works directly with our partners abroad.
US Team: This team handles fundraising, communications, and administrative tasks. We compile reports, manage documentation, and oversee day-to-day operations. Our goal is to ensure smooth operations so we can focus on our mission.
Partner Team: Our partner team builds relationships with GMPs, mentoring and guiding them based on their needs. Rather than dictating what they should do, we empower them to develop strategic mindsets, helping them identify areas for growth. We assist in planning, team development, and leadership succession, catering to each partner’s individual needs.
Empowering Leaders
At Global Assist, we believe in empowering local leaders. God has called these individuals to reach their communities, and our role is to support them in achieving their God-directed goals. We offer tools, training, and resources to help them think bigger and expand their ministries.
Our Daily Operations
Our US-based team plays a vital role in spreading the word about Global Assist. Here’s a glimpse into our daily activities:
- Fundraising: We continuously seek out financial resources to support our partners, through strategic funding. We are also a 501c3 US based organization and ECFA certified.
- Training and Development: We identify impactful training opportunities and create in-house programs for our GMPs.
- Communication: We maintain our social media presence, compile data for reports, and send updates to our prayer team and supporters. Send out email newsletters, update the website and write or schedule blog articles.
- Community Engagement: We share inspiring stories from our partners, recruit new followers, and provide value to our generous supporters.
Every day, I am in awe of the work God is doing to reach over 3 billion unreached people worldwide.
My Role at Global Assist
As someone involved in communications, marketing, and administration, I manage various tasks to keep our organization running smoothly. My background in corporate marketing has equipped me with the skills to effectively coordinate communication with our supporters and partners. On any given day, I might produce videos, create invitations for events, or work on campaigns. I am blessed to serve our partners and to be part of this incredible mission.
